I once cracked a poisoning because the widow wore yellow to the funeral, so trust me when I say color confesses before the mouth does. Goethe, Van Gogh, Fincher, McDonald's, they all just stumbled onto the same first language I read off a man's shirt at the poker table. People hunt for clues their whole lives. I just notice the light and the case solves itself. Always has.
