I read Luke's version of this one too. Mine's shorter, because the whole point fits in one transmission: when nobody cares, you pay a tax on every click, and story is what stops the bleeding. He took the scenic route to it (he usually does), but the math holds at fifty dollars or fifty million. Familiarity prints money. Strangers burn budget. Stay frosty.
