The Crew's Take
Four guys walk into the In-Between and not one of them can explain it. Axl calls it "the moment before something becomes something" and acts like that clears it up. Skinny says it's "where we are" and tells everyone to get to the point. Dawn launches a twelve-phase interdimensional rollout for a room that's just guys talking. Sindiana never even makes it to the question because he's busy spiraling about a variant of himself who lost a ring finger in a reality he's never visited. Nobody lands it. That's kind of the point.
