Cause and consequence, made beautiful.
A water charity that refused to look like a charity — premium editorial design put in service of a devastating problem. Lora headings plus golden yellow is the design equivalent of hope under duress.
Lora at weight 400 for headings creates a considered, unhurried editorial voice. Dusty blue-gray surface (#CEDCE2) is emotional without being sentimental. Golden yellow accent on white and dusty blue is warm without being commercial. Ground shadows anchor elements without elevation — this is not a product, this is a cause.
Nonprofit and charitable organization pages. Humanitarian cause and campaign pages. Health and wellness editorial pages. Mission-driven brand and product pages. Editorial publications with emotional subject matter.
You need high-energy or dynamic brand aesthetics. Your product is tech-forward or startup-coded. Your primary audience expects bold utility-first design.
One gold to break the silence.
Dusty blue-gray surface (#CEDCE2) is one of the most emotionally precise colors in this collection. It is not the sharp blue of corporate data products, not the romantic blue of fashion editorial. It is the blue-gray of water photographed in overcast light — the specific color of the problem being addressed.
Golden yellow accent (#FFCA0A) against that blue-gray creates an optimistic, forward-looking color relationship. The golden note in an otherwise cool system is where the hope lives.
What it looks like when design is in service.
Watershed's Lora headings and dusty blue-gray surface demonstrate that mission-driven organizations do not need to sacrifice design quality for credibility. The aesthetic serves the message rather than distracting from it.
Turn your ideas into polished interfaces without burning weeks on design decisions.
Paired with Geist.
Lora at weight 400 for headings creates unhurried, considered display copy. The serif strokes have a slightly calligraphic quality that reads as handwritten authority rather than printed authority — not cold type, warm type. At 1.13 line-height the headings are snug without stacking.
DM Sans body text is the functional complement — clean, neutral, reliable. The pairing creates a two-temperature reading experience: the headings invite you in with warmth, the body delivers information with clarity.
The palette is the argument.
Watershed's golden yellow accent against the dusty water-blue surface creates an emotional color argument at tablet scale. The system does not explain itself — the feeling precedes the reading.
Watershed's physical language.
Five pixels on cards, one pixel on buttons, 9999 on pill elements. The near-flat geometry with minimal softening is appropriate for humanitarian credibility — the shapes are not trying to be charming, they are trying to be clear. The ground shadow (4px drop shadow below elements) anchors everything firmly to the surface. Nothing floats.
Lora at mobile width.
Watershed's Lora headings retain their warm serif quality at mobile width. The dusty blue surface containers remain emotionally present at smaller scale. The system was built for content that needs to travel.
Watershed's invisible layer.
Ground shadows rather than float shadows — elements sit on a surface rather than hover above it. The fast motion speed and linear easing makes interactions feel direct and decisive rather than smooth and deliberate. The warm-to-white gradient in hero sections carries the visual temperature from the cream warmth of the cause toward the clear white of the solution.

Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.

Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
