Warm cream with burnt orange editorial confidence
AI research and editorial publishing that needed to feel simultaneously warm and credible. Burnt orange on cream as the color combination of sun-faded terracotta against aged paper. Source Sans 3 headings with editorial authority that stays geometric and modern without becoming cold. Lora as mono font bringing serif texture into code blocks reinforcing that this is a writing environment not a dashboard.
Source Sans 3 at 700 weight brings editorial authority while staying geometric and modern. #C6613F burnt orange accent on #FAF9F5 cream is warm enough to feel human without losing professionalism. Lora as mono font adds serif texture to code blocks, reinforcing the editorial DNA. Layered soft shadows on textured surfaces create a paper-like depth. #E8E6DC surface color adds warmth to cards without competing with the cream background.
AI research company blogs that need to feel credible and warm simultaneously. Editorial publications where the writing is the product. Design agency portfolios that want warmth without losing sophistication. Educational platforms with long-form instructional content.
Your brand is cutting-edge tech. The warm cream palette and serif mono font read as publishing house, not startup. You need a cool, clinical aesthetic. Burnt orange and cream are inherently warm and will fight cold messaging. Your product is data-heavy with dense tables. Source Sans 3 at 700 is too editorial for spreadsheet interfaces.
One orange to break the silence.
Cream background is warm but not golden. It's the color of good paper, not aged paper. The surface color in warm khaki creates cards that feel like linen. The contrast between background and surface is gentle, like the difference between a paper page and a paper folder.
The burnt orange accent is earthy and confident. Not the bright orange of a tech startup. The deep, oxidized orange of terracotta pottery. Against the cream and khaki, it creates a palette that feels handmade and considered. The subtle surface noise adds a tactile quality that reinforces the natural-material metaphor. Every element feels like it could be touched.
By design. Literally.
Terracotta gives research platforms and AI products the warm cream-and-burnt-orange atmosphere that makes thoughtful technology feel made by people who care.
When you remove every option, something interesting happens. The solution becomes obvious.
Paired with DM Sans.
Source Sans 3 at bold weight for headings is clean, open-source, and professional. No personality to distract from the content. The normal letter-spacing lets the large font sizes breathe. Headlines feel like research paper titles, considered and precise.
Source Sans 3 at regular weight for body text with a large 20px base font size creates a generous reading experience. The single typeface creates perfect unity. Heading and body feel like they come from the same voice, just at different volumes. The 1.4 line-height is tight enough for density but open enough for comfortable reading. The pairing with Lora as the mono font adds a serif option for emphasized or quoted content.
Warmer. More considered.
Terracotta's scholarly warmth and generous layout make knowledge bases and AI summaries feel worthy of the time it takes to read them carefully.
Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Terracotta's physical language.
Twelve-pixel radius on containers and small elements. Consistently rounded. Not pillow-soft, not sharp. The geometric balance of Terracotta's radius says "designed with care" without screaming about it. The eight-pixel small radius keeps buttons and inputs slightly tighter than containers.
None of the warmth is lost.
Terracotta holds its cream-and-clay warmth at mobile scale, making AI tools and research apps feel like thoughtful companions rather than cold utilities.
Production-ready tokens for every project.
Terracotta's invisible layer.
Layered soft shadows at very low opacity. The shadow builds up through three layers, each slightly larger and more transparent. The result is a warm, diffused depth that feels like natural light falling on paper. The lift hover effect raises elements gently. The smooth motion speed keeps everything feeling considered. Terracotta never rushes. It presents.
111 design decisions that all agree with each other. Made for you to use in an instant.

Shipwreck turns your git push into a production deploy in 11 seconds. Zero config, infinite scale, and an interface that doesn’t look like a spreadsheet.
Trusted by teams at
Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.
Start for free, grow until you’re a unicorn.
Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
11-second deploys. Automatic rollbacks. Zero YAML. Start free, no credit card.
