Clean AI search with blue trust and precision
AI search products that understood the interface should disappear behind the answer. #FCFCF9 slightly warm off-white that reduces eye strain for users who search all day. The universal trust grammar of blue-on-white search results carried forward from the earliest web. Fast scale hover effect that makes search results feel physical and selectable before the cursor settles.
Off-white background (#FCFCF9) is warmer than pure white, reducing eye strain for search-heavy use. Blue accent (#3B82F6) is the universal color for clickable search results. Tight letter-spacing (-0.4px) gives Inter a custom, precision-tuned feel. 16px radius softens the search interface without making it playful. Scale hover effect gives search results subtle physical feedback on interaction.
AI-powered search products where clean UI signals intelligence. Knowledge management tools where finding things fast is the whole value. Enterprise search interfaces that need to feel Google-simple. Question-answering platforms where the answer needs zero visual competition.
Your brand needs strong visual identity. This seed is deliberately invisible so the content leads. You need rich visual hierarchy for marketing. The minimal palette flattens everything to content weight. Your product is creative or expressive. The search-tool aesthetic suppresses brand personality.
One blue to break the silence.
Near-white background (#FCFCF9) with the faintest warm undertone. Not cold white. Not cream. Just slightly alive. That warmth makes reading long AI responses more comfortable than a pure white screen. The blue accent (#3B82F6) is the familiar search-engine blue. It leverages decades of training. Blue means "this is interactive" and everyone already knows it.
The surface at #F5F5F5 defines secondary areas without creating visual noise. In a search interface, every piece of decoration competes with the actual content for attention. This palette refuses to compete.
The design makes that sequence feel safe.
Searchlight builds the visual trust layer that AI search products need, clear, clean, and confident in what it returns.
Paired with Geist.
Inter at weight 400 with slight negative letter-spacing (-0.4px). Light, clean, unremarkable. That's the point. In a search interface, the user's query and the AI's response are the content. The UI typography should be invisible. The 1.5 line-height and 16px base size create comfortable reading conditions for long-form AI responses.
The normal heading letter-spacing keeps titles natural and unforced. No compression, no expansion. Just the font at its designed width. Search results need to feel neutral and trustworthy. The typography serves that by having zero personality of its own.
The design says: we checked.
Inside Searchlight's reading layouts, answers and citations are presented with the editorial clarity of a platform that stands behind its results.
Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Searchlight's physical language.
Full-round radius everywhere (9999px in the shape system, visually 16px on containers and 8px on small elements). The pill shapes create a distinctly modern search aesthetic. Input fields are capsules. Buttons are lozenges. Every interactive element looks tappable and friendly. The scale hover effect creates micro-interactions that confirm clicks without being distracting.
Searchlight was built for this.
The clean, open structure of Searchlight makes mobile search genuinely useful, not just technically available.
Searchlight's invisible layer.
No shadows. No depth. Search interfaces should feel like a clean sheet of paper that answers appear on. Adding shadow or blur would introduce visual complexity that competes with the content. The fast motion speed keeps interactions instant. Type a query, get an answer, click a link. Zero friction. The atmosphere is defined by absence. What isn't there is just as important as what is.
111 design decisions that all agree with each other. Made for you to use in an instant.

Shipwreck turns your git push into a production deploy in 11 seconds. Zero config, infinite scale, and an interface that doesn’t look like a spreadsheet.
Trusted by teams at
Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.
Start for free, grow until you’re a unicorn.
Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
11-second deploys. Automatic rollbacks. Zero YAML. Start free, no credit card.
