Friendly consumer DTC with soft blue comfort
Direct-to-consumer brands that made digital shopping feel as comfortable as buying in person. 24px radius as the softest possible expression of a physical product that you sleep on. #1E306E deep navy text that reads warmer than black, like midnight light through a window. Scale hover effect on rounded cards that creates the squishy, touchable quality of the product itself.
24px radius creates the softest, most pillow-like containers in any light system. #1E306E deep navy text on white is warmer than black, creating a softer reading experience. #1E3063 navy accent barely differs from the text color, creating a monochrome calm. Scale hover effect on large-radius elements makes cards feel squishy and inviting. Fira Code mono adds a subtle technical backbone without disrupting the consumer warmth.
Mattress and sleep product DTC brands with comfort as the core promise. Consumer subscription services targeting young professionals. Home goods ecommerce with lifestyle photography and cozy branding. Wellness apps focused on sleep, relaxation, and daily routines.
Your brand is sharp and authoritative. 24px radius rounds every edge off your messaging. You need distinct accent color contrast. The navy accent-on-navy text creates minimal visual differentiation. Your product is B2B or developer-facing. The soft, consumer DTC aesthetic undermines professional credibility.
One blue to break the silence.
White background with navy text (#1E306E). Not black. Navy. That shift from black to navy changes everything. It feels warmer, friendlier, more personal. Like handwritten notes in dark blue ink. The accent (#1E3063) is an even deeper navy. Buttons and interactive elements are rich, deep blue. Trustworthy without being cold.
Light gray borders (#4A5568) with 2px width create visible but soft structural lines. The surface at 0.32 opacity means backgrounds are mostly transparent. Cards are suggestions of containers rather than solid boxes. Light and airy. Like bed linens draped over a frame. The muted text (#151515) is near-black, providing strong contrast for secondary information.
That's the whole pitch.
Pillow's soft, generous interface signals the same comfort promise as the products it's designed to sell.
Paired with Geist.
Inter at 500 for headings with -0.18px letter-spacing. Almost default tracking with medium weight. Nothing extreme. Nothing flashy. The typography is deliberately unspectacular. In a system where color and shape are doing the personality work, the type just needs to be clear and comfortable. Like a pillow.
Body text at 14px with 1.4 line height. Compact but readable. Product specs, mattress dimensions, material descriptions. Information that needs to be accessible without being overwhelming. The 24px paragraph spacing gives each section comfortable breathing room. Dense text blocks, well separated. Comfortable information density.
Pillow makes it feel that way.
Pillow's editorial warmth turns product descriptions into something you actually want to read before you go to sleep.
Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Pillow's physical language.
Twenty-four pixel radius everywhere. The most generous rounding in any consumer DTC seed. Every container feels cushioned. Soft. Like pressing on a pillow. The 6px small radius on detail elements provides just enough structure for form inputs and badges. The scale hover effect at 0.97 makes elements compress slightly on hover. Like testing the firmness of a mattress. Bouncy easing adds a spring-back quality. Press it, it gives, it returns.
Even the app feels like rest.
On mobile, Pillow's generous shapes and soft palette create a bedtime browsing experience that feels designed for the context.
Pillow's invisible layer.
No shadows. Pillow creates depth through transparency and color alone. The ultra-low surface opacity (0.32) makes surfaces barely there. Like looking through sheer fabric. That transparency combined with the generous rounding creates an airiness that's perfect for a comfort brand. The scale hover effects and 2px borders are the only structural elements with real presence. Everything else is soft, translucent, yielding.

Shipwreck turns your git push into a production deploy in 11 seconds. Zero config, infinite scale, and an interface that doesn’t look like a spreadsheet.
Trusted by teams at
Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.
Start for free, grow until you’re a unicorn.
Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
11-second deploys. Automatic rollbacks. Zero YAML. Start free, no credit card.
