A Danish furniture brand that understood the best way to make color memorable is to use it precisely once. The cobalt blue accent that appears on a gray canvas and means exactly what it says.
Warm-gray background (#F2F2F2) reads as warm-neutral not cold-sterile. Near-black text and borders create Scandinavian precision without brutalism. Cobalt accent appears so rarely it means something every time. Compact density at 13px base signals craftsmanship over marketing.

Warm-neutral gray (#F2F2F2) is the material the interface is made of. Not white, not gray — the specific warm-neutral that reads as a physical surface rather than a digital default. Against it, white cards appear bright and purposeful, like well-lit product display areas in a well-designed store.
Near-black text and borders (#0A0A0A) are not pure black but close enough to read as maximum contrast while retaining slight warmth. The cobalt accent (#3860BE) is bold and specific — this is a HAY-coded blue, primary but not primary-school. It appears rarely and completely.
Restraint is the luxury.

Space Grotesk for headings at weight 500 has a slightly mechanical quality that reads as European engineering precision. The small irregularities in its letterforms give it character without irrationality. Outfit for body is clean and invisible in the best sense: it does not draw attention to itself.
The 13px base font is the most compact in this collection. It signals precision over accessibility, craft over broadcasting. Everything is proportionally smaller, tighter, more considered. The relaxed motion speed slows transitions to match the deliberate pace of the spatial decisions.

The warm-neutral gray that distinguishes Offset from both cold-minimal and warm-organic is the specific neutral that a furniture designer reaches for when they want the material to feel intentional.

Seventeen-pixel radius on cards creates smooth, considered rounding — not the extreme softness of consumer brands and not the sharpness of utility tools. Near-flat 2px radius on small elements. The near-black borders make shapes definition rather than decoration — you understand the container because of the border, not the shadow.

This is Scandinavian flat: everything has a physical relationship with everything else, nothing hovers, nothing glows.
