Rich near-black background (#0A0A0A). Surface (#141414) is one step up. The border (#2F2F2F) is subtle. The muted text (#9D9D9D) is neutral gray. This is a near-monochrome dark canvas. Nothing warm, nothing cool. Just dark. The canvas is deliberately neutral because what comes next needs a blank stage.
Lime accent (#CAFF45). Yellow-lime. On near-black, this reads as neon without becoming costume-y. It's the only color in the system and it earns its one appearance per view. Primary CTA only. Clash Display at weight 700 for headings. The most distinctive font in the catalog. Geometric, confident, slightly editorial. At -0.03em heading tracking with 1.1 line height, those Clash Display headlines dominate the page. They're designed to. Nothing else in the system competes with them because nothing else is allowed to.
Satoshi for body text at weight 400 with 1.6 line height. The humanist counterpart that softens what would otherwise be aggressive. Satoshi has warmth that Clash Display lacks, creating a balance between bold personality and readable content. Both fonts import from Fontshare, not Google Fonts. Space Mono for code adds monospaced utility. The three-font system is distinctive: display font (Clash), humanist sans (Satoshi), and monospace (Space Mono).

The shape language is invisible by design. When your heading font is Clash Display and your accent is lime, your corners don't need to make a statement.

The background to surface step (#0A0A0A to #141414) is subtle but critical for card differentiation. The large shadow at 25px 60px creates dramatic elevation for modals and overlays. Darken hover effects shift surfaces incrementally. Smooth motion speed means transitions feel confident. Active scale at 0.98 provides subtle press feedback.
