Playful consumer beverage with Gen Z personality
Cool blue-gray background (#E3ECF1) as the color of a cup photographed on a marble counter at golden hour. Dark green accent (#215732) as the color of the label, an ingredient list written by someone who knows plants. The 32px shadow at 0.3 opacity that makes white product cards float like they are sitting on that counter. Inter 700 with -1.5px heading spacing that reads like a product name on a can you immediately want to open.
Cool blue-gray background (#E3ECF1) with deep navy text (#102341) creates a distinctive non-white canvas. Dramatic 32px-offset shadows at 0.3 opacity create bold floating card effects. Dark green accent (#215732) adds earthy premium contrast against the cool background. 700 heading weight with -1.5px letter-spacing creates punchy impactful product headlines. White surface cards floating on colored background creates a layered retail display feel.
DTC beverage brand storefronts with subscription options. Gen Z consumer product launch pages with bold visual energy. Coffee and specialty drink ecommerce with product storytelling. Lifestyle brand marketing pages with influencer content grids.
Your brand is minimal and clean. The heavy shadows and colored background create a visually bold aesthetic. You need professional B2B positioning. The playful consumer palette reads as retail brand not enterprise. Your product is text-heavy editorial. The 4-column grid with heavy shadows prioritizes product cards not reading.
One green to break the silence.
Light blue-gray background (#E3ECF1) is the statement. Not white. Not cream. A specific, identifiable cool tone that sets the entire mood before any content loads. White cards pop against it with high contrast. The deep navy text (#102341) is a classically beautiful choice. Navy on cool blue-gray reads as nautical, clean, established.
The forest green accent (#215732) is deep and natural. Not neon. Not lime. True forest green. Against the cool blue-gray background, it reads as grounded and organic. The near-black muted text (#212121) is darker than the navy primary text, creating an inverted hierarchy that keeps secondary labels from feeling washed out.
The shadows say so.
Grounds' heavy shadow system and cool navy-on-blue-gray palette create a DTC brand experience where every product feels like it has physical weight before you've touched it.
Paired with Geist.
Inter at weight 700 for headings with tight letter-spacing (-1.5px). Bold and compressed. These headings feel like product labels. Thick, punchy, designed to be read at glance speed from a coffee shop shelf. The 1.389 type scale creates noticeable size jumps that work for product showcase layouts.
Body text at regular weight (400) with 1.71 line height is extremely generous. At 14px base size, the text is compact but the line height stretches it vertically. That combination of small text with wide leading creates a magazine-editorial reading cadence. Clean paragraphs with room to breathe. The contrast between the aggressive headings and the relaxed body text creates a rhythm that feels curated, not random.
Magazine pace for beverage content.
Grounds' generous line height at compact size creates the editorial cadence that makes product descriptions feel like reviews, not specs.
Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Grounds's physical language.
15-pixel rounding. Generous but not bubbly. The soft containers paired with the heavy shadows create a specific feeling: weighty softness. Like a well-made ceramic mug. Smooth in your hand but substantial in weight. The 2-pixel small radius keeps interactive elements crisp within those soft containers. The subtle divider style creates gentle section breaks that don't interrupt the flow.
The weight carries everywhere.
Grounds' sea-glass translucence and heavy card elevation translate to mobile beautifully, making even a product grid feel like something curated from a specialty shelf.
Production-ready tokens for every project.
Grounds's invisible layer.
The heaviest shadows in this batch. 32 pixels deep at 30% opacity. Cards don't just sit on the surface. They press into it. The weight creates real, physical depth. Elements feel like objects with mass. The lift hover effect raises cards up from that heavy shadow, creating a satisfying before-and-after depth change. The surface opacity at 0.4 makes card surfaces slightly translucent, letting the blue-gray background tint everything from behind. The whole system feels like looking through sea glass.

Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.

Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
