Active Seed DNA · Gilt
Heritage auction house. Times serif gravitas with a warm gold accent.
Centuries of printed auction catalogues where the serif heading is a trust signal. Gold as the color of provenance and certification — sparingly earned. The visual language of Christie's, Sotheby's, and the auction world's typographic heritage.
Libre Baskerville headings invoke printing history — immediately authoritative. Albert Sans at weight 300 creates elegant contrast without fighting the serif. Cream-gold background reads as aged vellum — physical, precious, rare. Gold accent used sparingly signals value without becoming gaudy. Relaxed motion says this is not rushed — great things take time.
Luxury auction platforms and marketplace sites. Fine art and collectibles e-commerce. Heritage brand storytelling and archive pages. Estate and luxury goods platforms.
Fast-moving consumer products or daily-use apps — this system commands deliberate browsing. Brands that need young or playful energy — the heritage palette reads as established and serious. Dense data dashboards — the generous padding and serif heading slow scanning by design.
One orange to break the silence.
Background is the color of paper that has been handled by careful hands for decades. The near-black text and borders assert clarity and control. The gold accent is the provenance mark — used only on prices, status badges, and primary calls to action. Gold used everywhere is just yellow. Gold used sparingly is a trust signal.
Important Impressionist & Modern Art.
Estimate: £2,400,000 – £3,200,000
Paired with DM Sans.
Libre Baskerville is the old-style serif most people recognize without knowing they recognize it. It reads like printed matter. That's the whole point. Albert Sans at weight 300 is the clean, nearly-weightless body that makes the serif heading look even more deliberate by contrast. The pairing doesn't try to be sophisticated. It just is.

Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Gilt's physical language.
The radius vocabulary tells a story across scales. Two pixels on form elements — precision instruments. Twenty-four pixels on standard cards — measured warmth. Fifty pixels on pill elements — the occasional flourish. The variation mirrors the way great auction catalogues use type size: strictly purposeful, hierarchy through difference.

Everything you need, nothing you don't. Curated for people who care about details.
Gilt's invisible layer.
Flat heritage. No shadows. The separation between background and surface is tonal: cream-gold to white. The subtle surface noise adds the grain of physical materials. Relaxed motion at every interaction, because great things are not rushed.
111 design decisions that all agree with each other. Made for you to use in an instant.

Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.

Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
