Inter at 500 weight keeps headings present but never competing with product imagery. 8px radius creates precise, jewelry-box-like container edges. Clean but not sharp. #0A0A0A near-black text on pure #FFFFFF white is the highest contrast possible. Nothing distracts. Darken hover effect is the most minimal interaction. The products, not the interface, are precious. #F6F6F6 barely-there surface color creates whisper-quiet card elevation.

Your brand is colorful or expressive. There is essentially zero color in this system. The blue accent is barely used. You need bold CTAs and conversion urgency. The quiet luxury pacing is designed to slow browsing, not accelerate it. Your product is affordable or mass-market. The minimal luxury aesthetic creates a price perception that budget products cannot support.

Pure white background. No warmth, no tint, no opinion. Filament's white is clinical on purpose. It's a gallery wall. Everything placed on it becomes the focus. The surface at #F6F6F6 is almost invisible. Just enough difference to define a card boundary without creating visual weight.

Inter at weight 500 for headings and weight 420 for body. One font. Unified. The slightly heavier heading weight creates just enough separation to establish hierarchy without shouting about it. The 1.2px heading letter-spacing opens things up and lets every character breathe. That space is doing all the luxury signaling.
The body weight at 420 is a deliberate choice. Not 400 (too light for product descriptions). Not 500 (too heavy for long reads). That extra 20 points of weight makes body copy feel substantial without feeling dense. The tight 1.33 line-height keeps everything compact and editorial. This is a font system designed for catalogs, not blogs.
