Every gram is a decision.
Zpacks choosing bold weight for BOTH headings and body text — the counter-intuitive move that reads as gear-spec directness. The specific shade of outdoor blue (#005E96) that means mountain water, not navy.
Bold weight throughout signals reliability — ultralight gear brands cannot afford to look fragile. Deep outdoor teal-blue accent is distinct from both navy and teal, specific to mountain environments. 100px pill radius on everything creates durability-tested visual language. Medium grey text (not black) with generous letter-spacing improves legibility for spec-heavy content.
Outdoor gear and ultralight equipment brands. Sporting goods and adventure equipment pages. Performance product DTC with spec-driven audiences. Trail running and backcountry gear brands.
Your brand requires lightness or editorial delicacy. Bold-everywhere feels too heavy for your product. The outdoor-utilitarian aesthetic conflicts with your positioning.
One blue to break the silence.
Outdoor blue at #005E96 sits in the specific saturation and value range that reads as the natural environment rather than the technology sector. It is darker than sky blue and lighter than navy. More saturated than slate and less aggressive than cobalt. Against white canvas and light grey surfaces, it functions as the operational color for all interactive elements without competing with product photography.
Medium grey text at #515151 rather than near-black is the gear-brand choice that improves legibility of technical specifications at large body size and spaced letter-tracking. Pure black at large size with letter-spacing creates visual noise. The medium grey creates the same readability at lower visual tension. The border at #E3E3E3 is specifically positioned to separate sections without suggesting fragility — the border of something that will hold under load.
The gear-spec brand voice.
Featherweight's Montserrat bold throughout both headings and body creates a direct technical communication style that gear audiences trust more than polished brand copy.
Paired with Poppins.
Montserrat at bold weight throughout creates a gear-spec voice that reads as direct technical communication. Body text at the same weight as headings — an unusual choice that reads as deliberate rather than monotone because the scale difference between heading and body is large enough to create hierarchy without weight variation. The body letter-spacing at 2px adds the additional visual separation that the shared weight requires.
The large 20px base size creates reading conditions for spec content on mobile devices. Gear reviewers are often reading outdoors, on devices held at arm's length, in variable lighting. 20px body text accommodates those reading conditions. The 1.25 body line-height is tighter than editorial standards — it suits the compressed spec-list format that gear brands use for product information.
Backcountry gear at 768px.
Featherweight's 100px pill radius and outdoor blue accent compress to tablet as an equipment catalog interface with the same gear-spec directness as desktop.
Design tokens that give your product a point of view. Not just colors and fonts. Personality.
Featherweight's physical language.
One hundred pixels is the pill radius that says "this product is built to last." Every major element — cards, CTAs, large containers — uses the same 100px radius, creating the complete pill shape that ultralight gear packaging uses. The sharp 2px reserved exclusively for small elements creates the functional contrast between the protective rounded container and the precision contents inside.
Ultralight design at 375px.
Featherweight's 20px base, spaced letter-tracking, and outdoor blue translate to mobile as a gear-spec interface designed for the conditions gear is actually used in.
Production-ready tokens for every project.
Featherweight's invisible layer.
The gear-grade shadow (warm grey base, 0.4 opacity) creates the specific quality of outdoor product photography lighting — not the cool grey of tech, not the brown of luxury goods, but the warm grey of things photographed against grey sky or granite. The relaxed motion at 400ms suits a user who is reading carefully rather than scrolling quickly. Lift hover creates the tactile response of picking up something lightweight that has weight-appropriate resistance.
111 design decisions that all agree with each other. Made for you to use in an instant.

Shipwreck turns your git push into a production deploy in 11 seconds. Zero config, infinite scale, and an interface that doesn’t look like a spreadsheet.
Trusted by teams at
Link your GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in two clicks. We scan your tech stack instantly.
Our high-speed runners build your app in isolated containers. No cold starts, just speed.
Your app is pushed to 300+ edge locations globally. Sub-10ms latency for every user.
A dashboard built for developers who hate dashboards. No fluff, just the metrics that matter for your application health.
Shipwreck is the first platform that actually stays out of my way. It feels like I’m writing code directly to the browser.
The speed is actually offensive. I push a commit and before I can switch tabs, the preview link is already in Slack.
We migrated 400 microservices in a weekend. Our dev team might actually like me now. Highly recommended.

Absolutely not. We run our own bare-metal orchestration layer built specifically for high-frequency deployments. While we leverage cloud partners for edge nodes, the core engine is pure Shipwreck engineering.
