But bold Garamond has a quality that heavier sans-serifs don't: it carries authority without aggression. The letterforms are still open and humane even at full weight. DM Sans body creates clean contrast — it steps aside and lets the prose breathe. The wide heading letter-spacing is the editorial broadsheet detail that makes the heading feel typeset, not rendered.
