At 14px base size, the type is compact by design. This is a tool that respects screen real estate because it knows people are living inside it eight hours a day.
Body text at regular weight with 1.43 line height is clean and functional. The 1.25 type scale keeps the size steps modest. No dramatic jumps from body to heading. The whole system feels like a well-organized notebook. Not every page needs a poster headline. Sometimes a clear heading and clean body text is all you need.
